Mastercam Hardware Requirements

These are the minimum hardware requirements for Mastercam and every SolidBox laptop and desktop meets these requirements. You might get by with the minimum Mastercam hardware requirements for 2.5 and 3 axis toolpath programming. However, the minimum just won’t do if you plan on taking advantage of any of the Dynamic toolpaths in Mastercam. Including if 4 or 5 axis machining is a requirement for cutting your parts. Without a workstation that meets or exceeds the minimum hardware requirements for Mastercam, you risk substantial loss of productivity. Moreover, if your system doesn’t meet the minimum Mastercam hardware requirements, it could become unstable and result in lost data.
