The SolidBox NAS provides flexible scalability by offering many different storage and RAID configurations. SolidBox NAS 2 DS1815+ with eight bays that each hold a 2TB 7200 RPM SATA III HD in the SHR array. Our standard configuration is to populate four bays with 2TB 7200 RPM SATA III HDs for a total of 6TB of usable storage with 2TB of backup storage.
